Dr. Jorge Gómez-Paredes, Director of the SDSN Andes, chaired a special session on Input-Output Analysis and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the 26th International Input-Output Conference held in Juiz de Fora, Brazil, on June 25-29, 2018. Dr. Gómez-Paredes also presented the progress of the SDSN Andes on monitoring the “Influences of Economic Structures on the SDGs Influences of Economic Structures on the SDGs”, an ongoing initiative of the network to develop methodologies to assess cross-country influences in terms of the SDGs. This initiative is aligned with the concept of spillover effects and global responsibilities in implementing the SDGs (see the new 2018 SDG Index and Dashboards Report).
